The Jamaica Scorpions went down by 5 wickets to the Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) on day three of their final preliminary round regional 4-day match at the Sir Frank Worrel Ground in Barbados.
Set 149 to win in the post lunch session, the CCC coasted to victory, posting 153-5 in their second innings.
They were led by Player of the match Shaqkere Parris who ended unbeaten on 84. He had made 112 in their first innings. Marquino Mindley took 2-30 and Pete Salmon 2-55.
Earlier, the Scorpions were dismissed for 342 in their second innings. Captain John Campbell who had retired hurt on 33 on day two Returned to the crease to make 104, while Pete Salmon weighed in with 35.
Aldaine Thomas carried on to 17 from his overnight 7, while Abhijai Mansingh went for his overnight 2. Larry Edward ended with 5-85 and Chemar Holder 3-79. Scores in the game: Jamaica Scorpions - 133 and 342; the CCC - 327 and 153-5.
