Contrasting views on Caricom sub-committee on sports proposal

Secretary General of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) Brian Lewis, and Dora Henry, the president of the St Lucia Athletics Association, have given contrasting views on whether the idea of a Caricom sub-committee on sports could work.

Lewis, is unconvinced that a Caricom sub-committee on sports, similar to the existing one on cricket, is a workable idea.

In a contrasting view, Henry has voiced her organization's support of the proposal by NACAC president Mike Sands.
