Stakeholders call for revamping of Intercol Athletics Championships

There are concerns that the Jamaica Inter-Collegiate Athletics Championships have fallen off with less institutions competing in addition to the competition now being held over just one day.

Some stakeholders are suggesting a return to a multi-day event, while offering suggestions for improvement. The 2025 staging of the championships was held last Wednesday with hosts GC Foster College retaining both the male and female titles.
