IMF says growth in Latin America & Caribbean to decline this year, rebound next year

The International Monetary Fund says economic growth in Latin America and the Caribbean is projected to moderate from 2.4 per cent in 2024 to two per cent this year, before rebounding to 2.4 per cent in 2026.
 
The IMF released its World Economic Outlook forecast on Tuesday, revising downward by 0.5% for 2025 and 0.3% in 2026, compared with the forecast in the January 2025 report.
