Defending champions Kingston College haave dropped out of contention for this year’s ISSA Manning Cup after St Andrew Technical (STATHS) booked a final date with Jamaica College following a 3-2 win at the National Stadium on Tuesday night.
STATHS took a 9th minute lead through Shakeone Satchwell from distance. Rashaun Frankson then doubled the lead in the 25th.
KC then pulled one back before half-time through Nashordo Gibbs. Dwayne Atkinson then made it 3-1 in the 65th minute before the prolific Dujaun Richards scored in the 89th minute to further narrow the deficit.
Meanwhile, 30-time champions Jamaica College are into their third straight Manning Cup final after coming from behind to beat Mona High 2-1.
Mona took an early 6th minute lead after being award a penalty which Danhue Mitchell converted for his 20th goal this season.
However, Tarique Ximines levelled things for JC with a well taken finish in the 30th minute. It was Mona's turn to give away a penalty early in the second-half which Kevaughn Wilson converted.
The Manning Cup final will be played on Friday, December 2 at Sabina Park.
