Tributes pour in for murdered Calabar High School jumps coach

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Jordan Forte

The Calabar High School and by extension the local track and field fraternity is in shock following the shooting death of jumps coach Nicholas Neufville.

Neufville's body and that of 19 year old Raheima Edwards were reportedly found shortly after 6:00 on Monday morning in an open lot off the Dyke Road in Portmore, St Catherine.

Investigators have theorized that the two were shot on Sunday night, but up to sports time no motive had been established for the killing. The 38 year old former athlete was also a member of the newly- formed Legacy Athletics Track Club.

He also previously travelled as a member of the coaching staff for various national junior track and field teams.
