Two track meets postponed after non-approval from MOHW

Although failing to get the requisite government approval for the staging of two scheduled meets this weekend, hopes remain high that the 2021 high school track and field season will be able to be staged.

The Jamaica College/R Danny Williams and the Ted Dwyer Classic meets will not be held on Saturday. Organizers for both meets say they were informed on Thursday about the non- approval for the staging of the meets.

The Jamaica College/ R Danny Williams meet was set to be staged at the Ashenheim Stadium at JC, while Excelsior High School was the venue  for the Ted Dwyer Classic.
