Data released by the Ministry of Tourism indicate that a total of US$235 million in revenues was generated by Grupo Aeropuertario del Pacifico which manages the Norman Manley and Sangster International airports.
This was mainly due to a spike in visitor arrivals to 4.3 million last year.
These revenues will fall in the future, however, because former finance minister, Dr. Nigel Clarke, pre-sold some revenue from Norman Manley International to help fund last year's budget.
