Williams to remain under Frater's guidance despite their separation from Titans

Radio Jamaica Sports understands that Olympic sprint relay gold medallist and former World Under-20 double sprint champion Briana Williams will remain with coach Michael Frater despite their separation from the titans track club.

2011 world 100 metre champion Yohan Blake along with young rising sensation Ackeem Blake have also left titans and will continue to work with Frater who it's understood will form and name his own club in due course.

World Championship representative and 400 metre hurdler Assinie Wilson who had been at Titans for two seasons, have also decided to move with frater to his new outfit.

It's understood that there have been simmering issues at the Titans track club dating back to earlier this past summer.

Both Frater and Little declined to speak when contacted by Radio Jamaica Sports on Tuesday.

However, Radio Jamaica Sports sources indicated that both coaches decided to split, having taken a decision to go in separate directions. Frater and Little started the Titans Track Club in 2020.

According to our sources, Williams, Wilson and the two Blakes are set to begin training next Monday under Frater's guidance for the upcoming season.

In the meantime, it's also understood that Little will continue to operate the Titans Track Club with former national junior representative Malik James King to remain under his guidance.
