West Indies all-rounder and former Worcestershire player Jason Holder will reunite with the English county side later this month as part of his recovery following shoulder surgery.
The 32-year-old Barbadian requested the opportunity to work with the club that rekindled his "love for cricket" during his brief but impactful stint earlier this year.
As part of his 'back-to-cricket' programme, he will spend a week training with the squad before Christmas while also attending follow-up appointments with his specialist in the United Kingdom.
Holder has maintained strong ties with Worcestershire since his departure, staying in touch with his former teammates, as the county achieved its best championship position since the competition's two-division structure was introduced, having finished 6th in Division 1.
