Windies lose 2nd ODI to Bangladesh; now trail 2-0 in series

After falling to a seven wicket defeat to Bangladesh in the second One Day International in Dhaka to surrender the three match series, stand in captain Jason Mohammed still believes the team can salvage pride in the third encounter in Chattogram on Sunday night Jamaica time.

Electing to bat the West Indies were bowled out for 148 in 43.4 overs.Rovman Powell top scored with 41 while fellow Jamaican Nkrumah Bonner made 20. Debutant Kjorn Ottley also made 24 as Mehidy Hasan took 4-25.

In reply Bangladesh posted with 149-3 in 33.2 overs. Captain Tamim Iqbal top scored with 50 while Shakib al Hasan ended on 43 not out as the Bangladeshis took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three match series. The third ODI takes place in Chattogram on Sunday.
