Former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams has revealed she was suicidal and was suffering from depression when she was in the hugely successful girl group.
Williams revealed that she had told manager, Mathew Knowles (Beyonce's father), how she had felt but he instead told her to be grateful for her accomplishments.
Williams, who is now 37, said she hit rock bottom around 25 and it was then that she thought of ending her life.
Destiny's Child recorded hits including Say My Name, Bootylicious and Survivor before splitting up in 2006.
