Robert Yancy, son of R&B singer Natalie Cole and grandson of jazz legend Nat King Cole, dead at 39
Robert Yancy, the son of R&B singer Natalie Cole and grandson of jazz legend Nat King Cole, died at his San Fernando Valley apartment earlier this week.
He was 39 years old.
Yancy's death is currently attributed to heart attack, however an autopsy will be conducted.
Yancy's mother died of congestive heart failure at age 65 in 2015 and his father, Martin Yancy, died of a heart attack at age 34 in 1985.
