Queen of Dancehall Spice has promised to complete her distribution of vouchers following the abrupt end of her annual back-to-school event held at Hope Gardens last weekend.
The event descended into chaos as the massive crowd became boisterous, causing some people to faint and overturning security barriers.
The Grammy-nominated singer revealed that she purchased $3 million worth of book vouchers from Kingston Book Shop, with the company donating an additional $500 thousand.
A total of $5 million worth of vouchers have been made available for donation.
Spice has encouraged patrons to save their armbands, and they will be given priority at the follow-up event.
Spice, through her Grace Hamilton Women Empowerment Foundation, hosts an annual back-to-school event in aid of low-income families.
