138 Student Living sees sharp decline in net profits for June quarter

138 Student Living is reporting net profits of $105 million or $0.09 per share for the quarter ending June 30.

This represents a sharp decline compared to the $198 million earned during the similar period last year.

The company says the results reflect higher electricity costs, reduced income from UWI receivables and lower earnings from Irving Hall.
