Air Jamaica workers who have been on six month contracts since the airline's acquisition in May can now apply for jobs with Caribbean Airlines.
The Trinidadian air carrier, which has an 84% stake in Air Jamaica, has issued a memo to employees informing them that applications for posts can be submitted starting November 1.
The memo dated October 4 from Howard Hall, Air Jamaica's General Manager, says interested individuals should complete and return expression of interest forms.
Employees can apply for posts they currently have with CAL Air Jamaica Transitional Limited.
Air Jamaica employees who have already received invitations for employment have been told to respond accordingly.
It is not known how many employees are being sought.
The employment offers come as Caribbean Airlines enters the second phase of the transitional period following the May 1 takeover of Air Jamaica.
