Bank of St. Vincent takes over FCIB operations in Barbados

The Bank of St Vincent and the Grenadines has taken over the operations of the FirstCaribbean International Bank (Barbados) Limited in Kingstown.

In a statement, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank said the take over goes into effect today.

Approval for the transfer of the assets and liabilities of FCIB was granted on July 15, 2022.
