Cable and Wireless Jamaica will today exit the stock market after nearly 30 years.
News came last week that it had applied for its shares to be delisted from the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
The de-listing follows last month's transaction in which CWC Cala Holdings, the majority shareholder of Cable and Wireless, increasd its stake in the telecom company to almost 92 per cent.
Cable and Wireless says it intends to acquire the remaining shares after de-listing and convert to a private entity.
