CIBC FirstCaribbean elected to board of international and financial business association

CIBC FirstCaribbean was elected to serve as a member of the Financial and International Business Association's Board of Directors.

This is the first time that a Caribbean bank has been appointed to the board in FIBA's four-decade history.

CIBC's Chief Compliance Officer, Candice Huggins, will represent the bank on the Board of Directors for a period of one year.

FIBA is recognised as a leading voice for international banking in the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

CIBC is a gold member of the association.

Scotiabank, CitiBank and St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank are also members of the association.
