Prime Minister Andrew Holness says Guardsman Group Cyber Secure Operations Centre, is a significant step in advancing Jamaica's digital security capabilities.
He commended the company for its move from traditional physical security to cybersecurity.
Guardsman Group invested nearly $2 million in its operations centre.
The funds were used for equipment, software hiring and training staff.
The Prime Minister, who was speaking at the launch, also emphasized that the Caribbean can be both users and innovators in global tech.
