Consumer prices rose to 1.3 percent in November

Consumer prices in Jamaica rose 1.3 per cent in November. It was the highest monthly movement since September 2014.

The Statistical Institute of Jamaica says the increase was a result of higher prices for food and gas.

The November rate moved inflation for the last 12 months to 4.6 per cent.

That was in line with the 4 to 6 per cent target set by the Bank of Jamaica.
