Digicel Jamaica boss Denis O'brien, has been placed 254th in the just released Forbes 2011 rich list.
It shows the 52-year old Mr. O'Brien with a net worth of US$4.2 billion.
This is up from US$3.5 billion last year when Mr. O'brien was ranked as the world's 258th richest person.
The self-made cell phone tycoon operates in dozens of Caribbean islands with his companies boasting a combined 10.7 million subscribers.
