Dolphin Cove says its majority shareholder, World of Dolphins Incorporated, has provided further information on an agreement to sell its shares in the Jamaican company.
The company says World of Dolphins entered into a share purchase agreement on July 9 with Global Attractions, a company incorporated in Saint Lucia, for the sale of all its shares in Dolphin Cove.
Dolphin Cove says its directors were informed on August 21 that Global Attractions is wholly owned by Parques del Este, a company based in the Dominican Republic.
The directors were also advised that Parques del Este is the legal entity associated with Dolphin Explorer, a swim-with-dolphins marine park in Cabeza de Toro, Punta Cana.
Dolphin Cove says it will continue to provide further disclosures as required by the Jamaica Stock Exchange and applicable laws and regulations.
