Fitch, the world's third largest credit ratings agency, has assigned a BBB rating to Jamaica's National Commercial Bank, pointing to its strong credit quality.
Fitch also indicated that the outlook for the bank is positive, while pointing out that the bank could be downgraded if its credit quality deteriorates or if its cash flows decline.
Meanwhile, the ratings agency says the bank is well positioned to maintain its strong rating.
