Goldman Sachs Predicts AI Could Replace 300 Million Jobs

A report by an investment bank, Goldman Sachs, shows that artificial intelligence could replace the equivalent of 300 million full-time jobs around the world.

It may also mean new jobs and a productivity boom, and it could eventually increase the total annual value of goods and services produced globally by 7 per cent.

18 per cent of work globally could be computerized, with the effects felt more deeply in advanced economies than emerging markets.
