The government is projecting to generate $1.1 trillion in tax revenues to help fund the next fiscal year's $1.26 trillion budget, despite the shortfall of almost $11 billion currently being experienced.
This amount would be 87.3% of the 2025/26 as well as $100 billion more than the projection for the current fiscal year.
The public sector borrowing requirement or the amount of money programmed to be borrowed to complete the financing of the budget is $158 billion or 12.54%.
