Grand Palladium Hotel undertaking 950-room expansion

The Palladium Hotel Group has announced a 950-room expansion of its Grand Palladium Hotel in Point, Hanover, at a cost of €500 million.
 
The announcement was made at the ground-breaking ceremony on the hotel's property on Tuesday.
 
This expansion will see the Grand Palladium replacing the Bahia Principe Grand in Discovery Bay, St. Ann, as Jamaica's largest hotel property.
 
Vice President, Grupo Empresas Matutes and President of Palladium Hotel Group, Abel Matutes, said this expansion is about cementing its longstanding partnership with Jamaica as well as to bolster local economic growth through sustainable practices and community initiatives.
 
He said this is not only one of the hotel's biggest investments, to date, but also a statement of its commitment to excellence.
