Jamaica Broilers Group reports increased profit

Jamaica Broilers Group ended its financial year with an increased net profit of 56 per cent reflecting $5.38 billion. 
 
Taxation for the year peaked to $1.37 billion from $1.02 billion last year.
 
Operating profit for the year totaled $8.78 billion, a 77 per cent increase when compared with the corresponding period in 2022.
 
For the year ended April 30, the group experienced a 23 per cent increase in revenues amounting to $91.37 billion compared with $74.39 billion last year.
