Jamaica Broilers posts $1.74 billion in unaudited net profits

The Jamaica Broilers Group has reported unaudited net profits of $1.74 billion on revenues of $26 billion for the first quarter of its 2025-26 financial year.

But directors say the company is still unable to present its audited financial statements due to complex accounting issues in its US operations.

The group expects to resolve the matter by September 30.

President and CEO Christopher Levy says the audited financials for Jamaica Broilers are complete, but the consolidated results remain on hold due to errors in US balance sheet items, particularly biological assets.
