Jamaica, Panama to establish multi-destination arrangement

Jamaica and the Republic of Panama are to establish a multi-destination arrangement, as part of efforts to strengthen tourism relations between the countries.
 
Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett on Thursday met with Minister of Tourism for Panama, Ivan Alfaro, at the World Travel Market in London.
 
In a media release, Mr. Bartlett said with the multi-destination arrangement, Panama will become a hub for long haul flights.
 
The Jamaica Tourist Board and the Panamanian Tourism Authority are to conclude details of the arrangement by January 2020 for signing during the International Tourism Fair in Madrid, Spain.
