Jamaica to sign MOU with Sierra Leone on tourism cooperation

Jamaica is to sign a memorandum of understanding with Sierra Leone aimed at strengthening tourism co-operation.

Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett says both countries have much to offer in tourism that can be capitalized on to build out new experiences for visitors.

Mr Bartlett, who is attending FITUR, the largest tourism trade show held annually in Spain, said discussions centered on air connectivity, training and development, marketing and promotional activities, cultural exchange, tourism diversification and growth, and resilience.
