In Friday's trading session, the JSE Index advanced by 627 points to close at 150,838.
The Junior Market Index advanced by 27 points to close at 1,853.
There was trading in 40 stocks of which 16 advanced, 15 declined and nine traded firm.
Jamaica Producers was the volume leader followed by JMMB's 7.50 per cent preference shares and Sagicor Group.
