The JSE's Main Index advanced by 1,660 points to close at 382,058 points on Thursday, while the Junior Market Index climbed by 67 points.
A total of 57 stocks traded; 26 stocks advanced, 23 declined and 8 traded firm.
TransJamaican Highway Limited was the volume leader followed by Wigton Energy Limited and the NCB Financial Group Limited.
