Margaritaville Turks reports strong Q1 net profit of $388,576

Margaritaville, Turks, is reporting a net profit of US$388,576 for the first quarter of the fiscal year ended August 31.

This is an increase of 69 per cent on the over US$220,000 earned for the similar period in the prior year. 

Revenue realized for the period was US$2.53 million or a 40 per cent increase on the US$1.8 million delivered for the similar period in the prior year.

This quarter recorded the highest figures ever, on record, for passenger counts. 

Three hundred and fifty-five thousand nine hundred and eighty-four passengers cruised into the Grand Turk Cruise Port during the three months to August 31, 2024.

For the comparative period last year, the country recorded 225,991 passengers, an increase in passenger totals of 57 per cent.
