National Commercial Bank has launched a one billion dollar growth fund for SMEs, under which a secured loan will attract an interest rate of 9.75% per annum and an unsecured loan 15.99 % per annum.
The bank also recently cut all its lending rates to the SME sector by 0.25%.
Bank of Nova Scotia is reportedly also expected to lower its interest rates on May 31 this year.
