National Commercial Bank (NCB), remains the country’s largest bank. According to the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) the Michael Lee Chin led bank, reported assets of more than J$284.5 billion about 41 % of all commercial banking assets.
ScotiaBank, with 33% of banking assets, was judged as the second largest.
However both are way ahead of the other banks measured by assets, with RBC Royal Bank, CIBC First Caribbean, First Global, Citibank and Sagicor Bank ranked from third to seventh.
