The National
Works Agency (NWA) is to get a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
RJR News has been informed that Milton Hodelin who has held the post for the past three years is stepping down.
Mr. Hodelin whose contract expired on March 31, has reportedly opted not to renew it and will proceed on retirement.
He will remain in the post until the end of the month at which time a new CEO is expected to be appointed.
Mr. Hodelin has reportedly agreed to stay on to facilitate a smooth transition.
The NWA is directly responsible for maintaining Jamaica's main road network which spans five thousand kilometres.
The agency also has responsibility for major bridges across the island.
