Omni Industries says it will be increasing the production of key construction materials, including zinc sheets and PVC pipes, to support the national recovery effort following the hurricane.
Managing Director Patrick Kumst says the company sustained only minimal damage and that all staff members are safe.
He noted that Omni is already operating at full capacity, allowing it to immediately boost production and distribution of critical supplies needed for rebuilding.
According to Mr. Kumst, these items include roofing materials such as aluzinc, nails and PVC pipes and fittings, which are essential for restoring water systems.
He added that the company will also step up production of plywood boards, electrical conduits and other general hardware items, recognising how vital these materials are to restoring homes, businesses and essential services across the island.
