Petrojam back to normal operations after Hurricane Beryl

Petrojam's General Manager Telroy Morgan
State-owned oil refinery Petrojam says it started normal operations on the weekend, after the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

Petrojam's General Manager Telroy Morgan says the plant was not adversely affected by the hurricane's passage, with very minimal damage, including fallen trees, lose cladding and some insulation issues.

"But besides that, [I'm] happy to report that...by the next day we were able to get sales going from our loading racks and in terms of our refining operations, we did suspend refining operations prior to the passing of the hurricane," he said.

He was speaking in an interview with Radio Jamaica News.
