Pharmaceutical company executive downplays significance of loss-making year

Managing Director of pharmaceutical company, Medical Disposables & Supplies, Kurt Boothe has asserted that one bad year does not define the company.

He explained that a significant portion of the company's medical inventory had to be written off because it expired.

He was commenting against the background of the company reporting a net loss of J$316 million this year, for the first time in 10 years.

Last year the company posted a profit of J$80 million.
