PIOJ: No immediate revised timeline to achieve development goals

Peisha Bryan Lee, Programme Manager for Vision 2030 Jamaica

The Planning Institute of Jamaica has conceded that it cannot present a timeline for when Jamaica would expect to meet all the targets under the Vision 2030 National Development Plan.

Programme Manager for Vision 2030 Jamaica, Peisha Bryan Lee, says an evaluation is being coordinated, with the Government of Jamaica being "in the process of looking at what we do beyond 2030."

The evaluation process will commence next fiscal year, she said, explaining that this will partly be done on the back of "lessons learnt," in order to determine "what we need to do, in terms of moving the country forward."
