As Jamaica continues to recover from Hurricane Melissa, Scotiabank is reaffirming its long-term commitment to the country and the wider Caribbean.
The comments were made by Scotiabank's Chief Executive Officer, Scott Thomson, during a recent visit to Jamaica by a senior delegation from the banking group.
Thomson said the visit was a strong affirmation of Scotiabank's long-standing relationship with Jamaica, adding that in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, the bank is standing shoulder to shoulder with the communities it serves to support recovery and growth.
During the visit, the delegation met with the leadership of Scotia Group Jamaica, as well as business leaders and key clients, reinforcing the bank's focus on collaboration and shared value.
