The select group of self-financing public sector enterprises will be spending $606 billion or 16% of GDP during the next fiscal year.

The central government will be spending $1.44 trillion or 37% of GDP.

This means that the consolidated public expenditure or the total amount of money that will be spent by the central government and its agencies will be $2 trillion or 52% of the $3.86 trillion in final goods and services the country expects to produce during the next fiscal year.

The combined capital budget of the central government and the public sector agencies will be $205.3 billion, while their recurrent budgets will be $1.7 trillion.

Self-financing public sector enterprises in Jamaica include the National Housing Trust (NHT), Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ), and Airports Authority of Jamaica (AAJ) -  key state-owned entities that generate their own revenue to fund operations and capital projects.
