Seprod's strong revenue growth stymied by rising expenses

Seprod saw strong revenue growth in the first quarter of this year, but rising expenses and finance costs reduced profitability with both net profit and earnings per share declining.

To address this, the company aims to boost productivity and cut finance costs.

It has expanded through several acquisitions, including A.S. Bryden and Sons Holdings in 2022, a majority stake in Stansfeld Scott in 2024 and Caribbean Producers Jamaica, also in 2024.
