Hall of Fame jockey Castellano eager to ride in Saturday's Mouttet Mile

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Spencer Darlington

Chairman of Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited Solomon Sharpe, says the presence of US-based Hall of Fame jockey Javier Castellano will add an extra flavour to the excitement expected for this Saturday's Mouttet Mile day at Caymanas Park.

Sharpe says apart from the Mouttet Mile and the two suporting features, Castellano's appearance at Caymanas park for the first time will add to the mystique on the day. The 48 year old Castellano has ridden over 5,700 career winners in North America during his 28 years in the saddle.

Castellano who is scheduled to arrive in the island on Friday night, has secured 6 mounts on Saturday's 11-race card, including the highly-fancied Rideallday in the 4th running of the US $300,000 Mouttet Mile.
