Jamaica's 4-man bobsleigh team bounced back in style on Thursday in Park City, Utah, overcoming the technical issues that hampered them on Wednesday to capture gold at the North American Cup.
The Jamaican crew, piloted by Shane Pitter, clocked a winning time of 1, minute, 35.91 seconds to top the field. The other members of the team were brakemen Joel Fearon, Junior Harris and Tyquendo Tracey.
The silver medal went to brazil's sled, which finished just 0.05 seconds behind at a minute, 35.96, while Canada took bronze with a time of 1 minute, 36.52 seconds.
It was a satisfying turn-around for team Jamaica, showing resilience under pressure and proving they belong among the top sleds on the circuit.
