The JSE Index gained 2,595 points, while the Junior Market index gained 26 points.
Among the 45 advancers were: Blue Power Group, ISP Finance Services, JMMB Group 7.25 per cent shares, Lasco Manufacturing and Sygnus Credit Investments JMD shares.
The 42 decliners include: Margaritaville (Turks) USD shares, Stationery and Office Supplies, GWest Corporation, One on One Educational Services and IronRock Insurance.
