TAJ promises improved service with build-out of new Cross Roads tax office

Tax Administration Jamaica is promising better service delivery with the build-out of a new revenue centre in Cross Roads, St Andrew.

TAJ Chairman Paul Lalor says the new centre will be located across from the current Cross Roads tax office.

He says TAJ is also completing the renovation of the Scotia Bank building in downtown Kingston.

Speaking at the TAJ's 10th anniversary tax forum on Wednesday, Mr. Lalor also promised further improvements in the services offered by the revenue agency.

This, he says, will be driven by constant innovation, technological enhancements and staff training.

Data released by the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service indicated that TAJ collected $452.65 billion in total revenues and grants during the period April to September of this fiscal year.
