The Christiana Tax Office in Manchester is expected to open by the end of fiscal year 2024/25.
Tax Administration Jamaica Commissioner General, Ainsley Powell, disclosed that logistics and supply issues have delayed its opening.
Approximately $441.7 million is earmarked in the 2024/25 Estimates of Expenditure to complete construction of the building, which will replace the existing facility.
TAJ is spearheading the execution of the project which started in January 2023.
