Another attempt is being made to divest the Oceana Hotel in downtown Kingston.
The hotel is among several properties which have been advertised for sale by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC).
An advertisement published in the press on Wednesday said buyers are also being sought for the Forum Hotel in Portmore, St. Catherine.
Joy Douglas, General Manager of the UDC, said the Corporation has been trying to sell the properties but has not received offers near the reserve price.
“They are not on the auction block, they are just for sale and as a public body we have a responsibility to ensure that the sale price meets our reserve price. So when we advertise if we do not receive an offer that meets the reserve price the we re-advertise,” Ms Douglas said.
The Corporation is also trying to sell parcels of land in Portmore, a beach front property in Cardiff Hall as well as the Mahogany Inn in Negril.
